Overview

We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer who will help us build applications to improve the productivity of the business processes for marketing operations. The role requires close collaboration with other engineering teams, business analysts and Salesforce administrators to deliver scalable marketing solutions.

Please note that this role follows a hybrid work model (3 days per week in the office) with working hours that may extend until 7:00 p.m. CET.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop complex, multi-step customer journeys using Journey Builder
  • Implement backend automations using Automation Studio, including SQL Activities and Script Activities
  • Build and optimize SFMC solutions for scalability and performance while working with large datasets
  • Develop dynamic content, custom business logic and personalized customer experiences using SSJS and AMPscript
  • Create responsive email templates and Cloud Pages using HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Integrate Salesforce with external platforms and third-party systems via APIs and web services
  • Configure and maintain Marketing Cloud Connect, including synchronization between Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud using Synchronized Data Sources
  • Design and implement scalable, maintainable solutions across Salesforce ecosystems
  • Perform data migration activities, large-volume data handling and data modeling
  • Collaborate effectively with engineers, TPMs, architects and business stakeholders
  • Manage multiple concurrent initiatives while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with Server-Side JavaScript (SSJS) and AMPscript
  • Expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Data Extensions, Contact Builder and Email Studio
  • Proficiency in Cloud Pages and data-driven personalization
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Skills in Salesforce technologies including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Visualforce
  • Background in SOQL, REST APIs and XML
  • Knowledge of Marketing Cloud Connect (MC Connect) and Synchronized Data Sources
  • Understanding of Salesforce standard and custom objects, CRM Sales and Customer Service functionality, Salesforce security architecture and permissions model
  • Experience with enterprise integration technologies including REST/SOAP services, Single Sign-On (SSO) and identity providers
  • Familiarity with middleware platforms, integration patterns and connected systems
  • Knowledge of Salesforce automation capabilities (Workflow Rules, Process Builder, Flows)
  • Expertise in SaaS data models, data modeling and optimization
  • Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), unit testing, bulkification principles, performance optimization and governor limits
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies and source control
  • Understanding of enterprise architecture concepts including authentication and authorization models, scalable application design and distributed systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher
