This is a deeply technical role for someone who actively designs, codes, reviews, and operates platform systems—not just sets direction. You will own the platform layer horizontally across all modules, with direct responsibility for: Data platform (models, pipelines, performance), UI platform (frameworks, shared components, state management), Core services and APIs.
You’ll work closely with module technical product managers and engineering teams, ensuring the platform is both highly usable and technically robust, while remaining directly involved in implementation.
Job Description

Design and implement core platform services, libraries, and frameworks used across all modules.
Own critical code paths (data pipelines, API layers, shared services, UI frameworks).
Set and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and architectural principles through direct contribution and review.
Architect and enable implementation of data models and schemas for large-scale grid planning datasets.
Drive performance tuning (query optimization, caching strategies, memory usage).
Establish data contracts and versioning strategies across modules.
Drive implementation of reusable UI frameworks, component libraries, and design systems.
Own frontend architecture decisions (state management, data fetching, performance). Ensure tight integration between UI and backend APIs.
Implement shared components used across modules (visualizations, dashboards, workflows).
Design and evolve a modular, service-oriented architecture supporting multiple product domains. Define API standards (REST/gRPC), service contracts, and integration patterns.
Build and maintain shared platform services such as: Authentication/authorization layers, Job orchestration and scheduling, Simulation execution frameworks
