Overview
We are seeking a Salesforce Product Owner to guide Salesforce delivery and API integration design for a loyalty platform shifting to Salesforce Loyalty Management. You will lead backlog ownership for a Salesforce team, craft highly detailed user stories for Salesforce development and integrations (Apigee, Mulesoft, Salesforce APIs), and ensure alignment with architecture standards across a multi-team ecosystem. Responsibilities
- Own and rank the product backlog for an assigned Salesforce development team
- Translate business needs into precise, technically grounded Salesforce user stories that cover Apex logic, platform automation, and flow-based orchestration
- Define stories that address trigger behavior, governor-limit considerations, and Salesforce data model design
- Document integration behavior using APIs, middleware, and platform events
- Ensure every story follows Salesforce best practices and includes clear, testable acceptance criteria
- Partner with architects and integration teams to shape APIs using Salesforce Integration frameworks, Mulesoft and Apigee
- Create user stories that cover REST API design, versioning, and lifecycle management
- Include authentication, security, and middleware orchestration patterns within user stories
- Align with Product managers and Salesforce platform architects to keep backlog items consistent with the target Salesforce architecture
- Coordinate dependencies across other Salesforce development teams and join solution discussions by reviewing architecture diagrams and integration patterns
- Provide ongoing clarifications to developers and testers during the sprint lifecycle and review completed work for completeness
- Participate in demos that showcase Salesforce UI flows, API calls (e.g. Postman), and data checks including SOQL queries
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Salesforce Architecture
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery and the ability to slice features into clear, incremental stories
- Strong knowledge of Apex fundamentals, flows and triggers, including automation and SOQL queries
- Good familiarity with Salesforce architecture principles
- Hands-on experience with REST API fundamentals along with practical use of Apigee and Mulesoft
- Deep understanding of API governance, security and enterprise integration models
- Ability to read architectural diagrams and validate behavior via UI flows, API calls or simple data queries
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex topics to both business and technical stakeholders
- Advanced proficiency in English (B2+/C1)
