Kiwitaxi is an international online aggregator for private transfer bookings, hiring an experienced Tech Lead to join the backend team.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of commercial backend experience in PHP; hands-on experience with Go
  • Experience designing microservice architectures and working with multiple database types
  • Good grasp of modern infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes, cloud services, monitoring
  • Experience leading a backend team (3+ engineers) and running technical interviews
  • Experience owning a technical backlog and strong understanding of agile principles; strong communication skills

Role: Player-coach who will spend ~50% of the time coding while building engineering processes and handling technical debt.
