Exness is hiring a Team Lead for Linux Engineering to lead the Linux-based core infrastructure team, ensuring stability, growth and continuous improvement of infrastructure services.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to architecture decisions, code reviews and solving complex technical problems.
  • Set priorities, track progress and handle operational challenges when needed.
  • Develop and support people through coaching, feedback and performance reviews.
  • Evaluate and introduce technologies and tools; manage technical debt; define and monitor SLIs/SLOs and service dependencies.
  • Develop project plans, manage resources and monitor team progress.
  • Identify and mitigate technical and project-related risks; support incident management.
  • Take a product approach to managing the team’s backlog.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years working with Linux infrastructure, including 2+ years in leadership or mentorship roles.
  • RHEL / Debian expertise.
  • Infrastructure-as-Code mindset; strong Ansible playbooking.
  • Experience with containerisation and Kubernetes is an advantage.
  • Experience with HAProxy setups; experience with public CDN (e.g., CloudFlare) is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Relevant certifications (Cloud Native, LPI, Red Hat, AWS/Azure, agile) are a plus.
