We're looking for a Substation Commissioning Manager of Renewable Energy on behalf of our client, responsible for execution of assigned renewable power plant projects and teams as it relates to commissioning, start up and operational turnover.

Requirements

  • Ensure commissioning activities for assigned projects are performed with high quality and follow all safety policies.
  • Responsible for coordination and management of EPC contractor personnel, OEM start up personnel, third-party start up contractors, and operations personnel on site, as it relates to site commissioning and startup.
  • Responsible for project reliability at operational turnover with plants exhibiting as little lost time in initial operation.
  • Responsible for compliance with all project contractual documents to include Power Purchase Agreement and Large Generator Interconnect Agreement deliverables with local utility.
  • Ensure interface is made with Transmission Operators and Independent Service Operators to ensure project energization dates are achieved.
  • Manage Client's onsite commissioning personnel
  • Interface with project's designated safety, engineering, and quality control parties
  • Progress reporting
  • Manage third parties and suppliers and of direct report team members
  • Schedule and planning understanding
