We build an ITSM / ITAM solution available as both SaaS and on-premise. Engineering team of ~30 engineers, with a mix of legacy components and newer .NET-based services. Automation exists, but a significant part of regression testing is still manual — slowing down releases. This role is key to changing that.

Responsibilities

  • Own the test automation approach and evolve it into a structured, scalable system
  • Improve reliability of existing automation, expand coverage, introduce clear patterns and best practices
  • Increase automated coverage of critical user journeys
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
  • Work closely with the QA team and support their transition toward automation

  • Platform: .NET
  • Automation: Playwright, TypeScript
  • AI-assisted dev: GitHub Copilot and similar tools

Requirements

Must-have:

  • Experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks
  • Solid coding skills (TypeScript or similar)
  • Ability to work hands-on where automation is still developing
  • English — Upper-Intermediate or higher (written and spoken)
  • Russian — professional working proficiency

Important:

  • Experience with Playwright, or willingness to adopt it
  • Comfort working with AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, etc.)

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience mentoring QA engineers transitioning into automation

  • Establish a clearer structure and direction for test automation
  • Improve coverage of critical user flows
  • Reduce time and effort required for regression testing
  • Help QA team members grow their automation capabilities
