Software Developer in Vehicle Motion Control
You will be a software developer focusing on Longitudinal Vehicle Control, which entails developing control algorithms that ensure the most rewarding and energy-efficient longitudinal control of vehicles. This involves coordinating and controlling systems that accelerate and decelerate the vehicle, including propulsion, energy storage, and brake systems. You will work as part of a team developing Core System Platform apps and delivering new Core System VCU. Your mission
We are looking to strengthen our team with a Software Developer who has experience in model-based Simulink development and C/C++ in an embedded software environment.
Who are you?
We seek someone who is open-minded and curious, with excellent cooperation skills. You must be self-driven and unafraid to seek new solutions to problems. Good communication skills are essential, with fluency in English (both spoken and written). You should be a technically minded team player who appreciates working with diverse cultures. You have 3-5 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. degree in engineering.
Main responsibilities
Development and updates of various model-based and C++ functionalities in core system ECUs.
Create CI test cases related to the implemented functionality.
Debug, test, and trace during integration.
Synchronize and collaborate with partners and teams.
Key Requirements:
- At least 3 years of software development experience (C++, Python) and Control Engineering.
- Experience with automated software testing/Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery.
- Experience in developing applications using application frameworks while managing the lifecycle and execution contexts.
- Knowledge of distributed electrical systems and electrical architecture.
- Experience in test tools such as Wireshark and Canalyzer/CANoe.
- University degree in Computer, Electrical, or Applied Physics (Bachelor, Master or PhD).
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
Nice to Have:
- Experience in Ethernet communication.
- Basic knowledge in diagnostics, SWDL, and network communications.
