••••••••••• is hiring a Senior Backend QA Automation Engineer to join the Datafeeds team responsible for high-throughput data pipelines and backend services.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks and test suites in Python for backend services and data pipelines.
- Perform functional, integration, and performance testing of backend services, APIs, and data feeds.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute production releases with focus on quality and zero-downtime.
- Improve QA processes and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines; automate routine tasks.
- Analyze logs, system metrics, and data anomalies to troubleshoot and diagnose complex issues.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and data engineers; document and track issues in Jira/Confluence.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of QA experience with strong focus on backend testing and test design; senior-level expertise.
- Strong Python skills and experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., PyTest).
- Proficient in SQL and data validation across databases; experience with ETL/data testing.
- Experience testing REST/gRPC APIs; comfortable with tools like curl and Postman.
- Experience with Linux/Unix, shell scripting, observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Zabbix, ELK).
- Experience with AWS and CI/CD tooling is desirable.
