Electronic Arts (Maxis) is hiring a Quality Expert to work onsite from Bogotá, Colombia on The Sims.
Responsibilities:
- Support quality testing execution and define testing strategies based on game design document analysis; manage progress.
- Partner with development, production, design, and QV team members.
- Mentor junior talent in quality assurance foundations and best practices.
- Work on quality and process improvements with leadership.
- Create and execute test scenarios and identify automated and data-driven testing scope.
- Execute early risk assessment, management and resolution.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance supporting multiple platforms (Mobile, PC, etc.).
- 5+ years of experience using test tools, testing methodology, and QA processes.
- Experience defining test strategies within a feature or domain area.
- Experience using development tools to enhance white- and gray-box testing strategies.
- Experience using QA metrics to inform testing decisions.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal).
