The Role:
As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Product Owner who is passionate about improving first-time user experiences, increasing conversion, and building new features that create a smooth and engaging onboarding journey for our online gaming customers. In this role, you will own the onboarding experience from the moment a player lands on our websites. Your focus will be on making that first interaction simple, intuitive, and effective in turning visitors into depositing players.
You will work closely with data, customers, and cross-functional teams (such as design, engineering, and marketing) to understand user behavior, identify friction points, and continuously improve the product. Acting as the bridge between these groups, you will translate insights into clear product requirements and ensure that development efforts align with the overall product vision.
You will take full ownership of key onboarding journeys, including account registration, login, and integrations with third-party tools that support and simplify the onboarding flow. Your goal will be to optimize these journeys end-to-end.
A key part of your role will be driving measurable improvements in conversion rates. You will do this through data-driven decision-making, running A/B tests, defining and tracking meaningful performance metrics, and continuously iterating on the user experience.
Key Responsibilities
Own the onboarding experience
- Take full ownership of the end-to-end onboarding journey, including landing pages, registration, login, and player profile setup
- Manage third-party tools (e.g. device, email, and SMS verification) to ensure a seamless and secure onboarding flow
- Ensure all onboarding touchpoints are simple, intuitive, and optimized for conversion
Drive conversion and experience optimization
- Continuously optimize the registration flow for simplicity, speed, and higher conversion rates
- Own and improve all visual and content elements used during onboarding and first user communication
- Use A/B testing and experimentation to validate improvements and enhance user experience
Lead product strategy and roadmap execution
- Define, shape, and execute the onboarding product roadmap aligned with business goals
- Identify opportunities for new features and improvements based on user needs, data insights, and market trends
- Conduct ongoing market and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry developments
Manage backlog and delivery
- Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring it is transparent, well-defined, and aligned with business value
- Create and refine epics and user stories with clear acceptance criteria
- Work closely with engineering, design, and stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely delivery
Use data to drive decisions
- Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to onboarding and conversion
- Monitor user behavior, performance metrics, and stakeholder feedback to identify areas for improvement
- Make informed, data-driven decisions to continuously optimize the product
Collaborate across teams
- Act as the bridge between stakeholders, customers, and development teams
- Lead agile processes such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and product releases
- Work with cross-functional teams to manage live issues and prioritize resolutions effectively
Skills & Experience
- Experience as a Product Owner/Product Manager in a fast-paced, agile, digital environment
- Strong ability to translate business requirements into clear epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Highly organized, structured, and detail-oriented in managing priorities and delivery
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across cross-functional teams
- Data-driven mindset with a focus on optimizing user experience and conversion
- Hands-on problem solver who can manage multiple priorities and take initiative
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities through market and competitor analysis
- Comfortable investigating issues and coordinating with internal teams and third-party providers
- Passion for building high-quality, user-centric products
Advantageous
- Experience in Gaming, Forex, or Crypto industries
- Experience working on customer onboarding and conversion flows
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar product-focused certification
- Experience working with remote, distributed teams across multiple time zones
