Turn broad product requirements into simple, scalable technical solutions with minimal hand-holding.
Take ownership of features, services, or product areas from design through production.
Make and defend architecture and design decisions, including APIs, schemas, service boundaries, failure modes, and cost.
Use AI agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot to plan, implement, test, and refactor solutions.
Break down complex work into tasks that AI agents can execute effectively and run multiple workstreams in parallel when appropriate.
Review and verify AI-generated code before it reaches production, including testing edge cases, security implications, and overall quality.
Maintain strong engineering and architectural standards in an AI-assisted codebase.
Debug production issues across services using telemetry and observability tools.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, DevOps, and QA.
Quickly adapt to unfamiliar technologies and ecosystems when required.
Communicate technical decisions and progress clearly and take ownership of outcomes.
📌 You should have
Strong experience as a Senior Software Engineer with a solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals.
Strong knowledge of TypeScript/Node.js.
Experience with React/Next.js.
Good understanding of APIs, networking, databases, distributed systems, and security.
Hands-on experience designing APIs, schemas, and service boundaries.
Experience with both relational and non-relational databases.
Proven ability to work independently with ambiguous requirements and make sound product and technical decisions.
An AI-native approach to development — using coding agents as a core part of your daily workflow, not just occasionally as an accelerator.
Strong verification and code-review discipline: you read diffs, test generated code, and understand its edge cases before merging.
Ability to quickly move between technologies and programming languages when needed.
