Senior Business Analyst – Website Development

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with deep expertise in website development, CMS platforms (WordPress, Optimizely, Sitecore), and end-to-end digital experience optimization. The ideal candidate will be a strategic partner to business, marketing, design, and engineering teams—driving clarity in requirements, shaping customer centric web experiences, and ensuring the delivery of scalable, high-quality digital products.
This role blends analytical excellence, stakeholder management, and UX/technology fluency to support a full web transformation lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Analysis & Web Experience Scoping

  • Lead discovery workshops with business, marketing, content, SEO, and technology teams to define website objectives, content needs, and user journeys.
  • Define and document information architecture, sitemaps, user flows, wireframe-level specs, and web content workflows.
  • Conduct gap analysis on existing websites, including performance, SEO, accessibility, content structure, and user experience.
  • Translate business goals into clear functional and non-functional requirements for CMS-based website solutions.

CMS / Website Functional Expertise

  • Act as the domain expert on WordPress, Optimizely, or other CMS platforms, covering:
  • Content modelling, page templates, components, and reusable modules.
  • Publishing workflows, roles/permissions, approval processes.
  • Multilingual and multi-site management.
  • SEO and analytics integration.
  • Plugin selection, third party integrations, and security considerations.
  • Work closely with UI/UX to align functional needs with design components and responsive behaviour.
  • Collaborate with SEO, analytics, and marketing teams to drive data-backed decisions.

Stakeholder Leadership

  • Partner with product owners, marketing leads, engineering managers, and CXOs to align digital strategy with business goals.
  • Facilitate communication between creative, development, QA, and content teams.
  • Build relationships across global teams and ensure all stakeholders are aligned on priorities, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on digital best practices, CMS governance, and web modernization.

Requirements Management & Agile Delivery Support

  • Create BRDs, functional specs, user stories, process maps, acceptance criteria, and wireframe annotations.
  • Work with UI/UX teams to translate business requirements into intuitive designs.
  • Support developers and QA teams by ensuring requirements are clear, measurable, and testable.
  • Participate in sprint ceremonies: backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, demos, and retros.
  • Lead UAT planning, defect triage, end-user training, and postlaunch evaluation.

Technical Acumen

  • Translate business needs into high-level solution designs, considering data integration, workflows, and automation.
  • Understand data structures, API interactions, system interoperability, and security considerations.
  • Collaborate with architects and engineers on solution feasibility and scalability.
