Required skills

  • Administration Windows, Linux and MacOS OS family of operating systems
  • Understanding of basic OS mechanisms, knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Understanding how IP networks work and diagnosing problems
  • Tools & Technologies: Windows, Linux and MacOS OS family. Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Symantec SES client

Responsibilities

  • First line support - interaction with emplyees on their workplaces to do initial estimation of task complexity and solving local software and hardware issues
  • Symantec SES antivirus clients support. Printer support and printing problem solving
  • If the supposed solution is outside the area of responsibility, escalate the request to a higher level
  • Purchasing software, equipment and services from local providers/suppliers, interacting with Internet providers and solving emerging problems
  • Keeping records of equipment and software in the office
