A global gamedev company seeks an analytical, enthusiastic marketing professional to join us as a Head of User Acquisition (UA). In this role, you will allocate a marketing budget for our games and partner with stakeholders to implement a strategy. This role will involve spending hundreds of thousands of dollars per month across mobile platforms (iOS, Android) in pursuit of our user acquisition goals to grow our key titles.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and execute the overall User Acquisition strategy across paid, incentive, and emerging acquisition channels.
  • Define budget allocation, growth priorities, and scaling strategies across the UA portfolio.
  • Lead and develop the User Acquisition function, building processes, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Manage large-scale acquisition campaigns across multiple platforms and traffic sources.
  • Own relationships with key advertising, affiliate, and incentive traffic partners.
  • Continuously identify, test, and scale new acquisition opportunities.
  • Drive experimentation across creatives, audiences, bidding strategies, and acquisition channels.
  • Partner closely with Product, Analytics, and Creative teams to maximize growth and profitability.
  • Monitor and optimize key business metrics including user quality, retention, LTV, ROAS, and payback periods.
  • Build forecasting models and provide regular performance updates to company leadership.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, platform changes, and emerging opportunities within mobile growth and user acquisition.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of User Acquisition / Performance Marketing experience in mobile gaming.
  • Proven track record of scaling mobile products through paid acquisition and performance marketing.
  • Hands-on experience with incentive traffic, offerwalls, rewarded acquisition channels, and affiliate partnerships.
  • Strong understanding of UA economics and key metrics including CPI, CPA, ROAS, LTV, Retention, and Payback.
  • Experience managing significant UA budgets and making data-driven investment decisions.
  • Experience building, leading, and developing high-performing UA teams.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities and optimize performance through data.
  • Ownership mentality and ability to independently drive initiatives from strategy to execution.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
