Glovo (part of the Delivery Hero Group) is hiring an Engineering Manager - iOS based in Barcelona.
Responsibilities:
- Lead up to 10 engineers of different backgrounds and seniority levels.
- Be accountable for team delivery, quality of solutions, hiring and performance.
- Work closely with the product manager to prioritize work and balance engineering needs.
- Ensure high quality of implementation and shield the team from distractions.
- Lead by example, motivate the team, introduce improvements to ways of working.
- Mentor and coach team members to help them grow.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated experience in leading teams and coaching/mentoring engineers.
- At least 10 years of experience in a software engineering role and agile environments.
- Past experience as an iOS engineer and familiarity with the iOS ecosystem.
- Experience delivering complex, large-scale projects; ability to be hands-on and contribute to technical discussions.
- Strong technical skills to design and architect scalable, maintainable systems; data-driven and quality-focused.
