Purpose of the Role

The AI4 Coach (Business Impact with AI) exists to help learners confidently use AI to enable change, improve ways of working, and deliver measurable business impact.

In this role, you will coach and mentor learners on Corndel’s Level 4 Business Impact with AI programme, supporting them to apply business analysis and change practices alongside modern AI enabled tools. You will help learners understand not just how to use AI, but when, why, and where it adds value — particularly in improving processes, decision making, and organisational outcomes.

You will combine strong business analysis expertise with a coaching mindset, empowering learners to take ownership of their development and apply AI responsibly, ethically, and effectively in their organisations.

Core Responsibilities

Learner Coaching & Development

  • Manage a caseload of learners, building trusted relationships through structured coaching, mentoring, and practical guidance.

  • Deliver engaging one-to-one sessions and workshops that bring business analysis and AI enabled change concepts to life.

  • Empower learners to think critically about problems, experiment with AI supported approaches, and reflect on outcomes.

  • Create an inclusive, psychologically safe learning environment where learners feel confident to ask questions, challenge assumptions, and learn from mistakes.

Business Analysis & AI Enabled Change

  • Support learners to apply core business analysis practices, including requirements elicitation, stakeholder engagement, process modelling, solution evaluation, and benefits management.

  • Coach learners on how AI (including generative and agentic AI) can be used to improve workflows, support decision making, and enable change.

  • Help learners assess opportunities for AI adoption, model impact, and track benefits over time.

  • Guide learners to use AI tools thoughtfully and responsibly, balancing innovation with data privacy, bias awareness, and ethical considerations.

Progress, Quality & Outcomes

  • Support learners to make consistent progress towards successful programme and End Point Assessment completion.

  • Guide learners in producing high-quality, compliant portfolios of evidence that reflect genuine capability and workplace impact.

  • Engage regularly with learners’ line managers to align learning with organisational priorities and change initiatives.

  • Take ownership for quality and compliance, making sound professional judgements that balance learner support with high standards.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and employers to deliver an excellent learner experience.

  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve delivery approaches, learner engagement, and programme outcomes.

  • Stay curious about developments in AI, business analysis, and change practice, bringing relevant innovation into learning conversations where it adds value.

Technical Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Practical experience in a Business Analyst, Business Change, or related role, ideally within change or transformation contexts.

  • Strong understanding of business analysis practices, including requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, process modelling, solution evaluation, and benefits management.

  • Confidence in using AI enabled tools (including LLMs and prompt based tools) to support analysis, insight generation, and workflow improvement.

  • Understanding of how agentic AI and automation can support business analysis and change initiatives.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and AI enabled tools such as Copilot and Power Automate.

  • Awareness of data privacy, bias, and ethical considerations when applying AI in organisational contexts.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly to learners with varied backgrounds and confidence levels.

Desirable

  • Experience supporting teams through AI adoption, including managing resistance and mixed levels of enthusiasm.

  • Familiarity with process modelling tools (e.g. Visio or equivalent).

  • Understanding of project management principles and how business analysis fits within project and change lifecycles.

  • Experience delivering training, workshops, or coaching in a professional environment.

  • Teaching, coaching, or business analysis qualifications.

What Success in This Role Looks Like

In this role, success means that you:

  • Consistently support learners to complete their programme and End Point Assessment successfully and on time.

  • Are trusted by learners and employers as a knowledgeable, supportive, and credible coach.

  • Enable learners to confidently apply AI to improve business processes and support change in their organisations.

  • Balance encouragement with challenge, maintaining high standards while supporting learner confidence.

  • Contribute positively to a collaborative, inclusive, and high performing team culture.

What Brilliant Looks Like

At its best, this role delivers impact beyond individual learners:

  • Learners describe your coaching as pivotal to their confidence in using AI to drive change.

  • You spot patterns across cohorts and proactively improve learner outcomes and engagement.

  • You introduce thoughtful, practical ways of using AI that genuinely enhance business analysis practice.

  • You challenge learners constructively, helping them make better decisions rather than simply adopt tools.

  • Your influence helps organisations embed AI enabled change more responsibly, effectively, and sustainably.

Who This Role Is For

This role is ideal for a business analysis or change professional who:

  • Enjoys helping others grow and succeed.

  • Is excited by the potential of AI to improve how organisations work.

  • Values integrity, inclusivity, and impact as much as technical capability.

  • Wants to combine professional expertise with coaching and education to make a meaningful difference.
