We're looking for a driven Product Manager to own the product layer of Salmon's Alternative Distribution business unit — and run it like a startup within a startup.
You'll take a helicopter view across 5–6 tightly connected internal platforms, turning messy operational processes into clean, automated, scalable systems. You'll be hands-on, analytical, and fast — building products that directly move the business needle.
The position is based in Manila, Philippines. We support relocation.

You'll Be Working On
Alternative Distribution — Salmon's network of small partner stores and independent agents across the Philippines. The unit has its own end-to-end journey, and you'll own the product side of it:

  • Store planning platform — prioritization and sequencing of new location openings

  • Document verification service — KYC and due diligence for partner onboarding

  • Visit & first-credit app — the tool agents use to activate a store's first transaction

  • Partner-facing app — for store owners and their staff, with gamification mechanics, performance leaderboards, and financial incentives (e.g. bonus for 3 credits in a week)

Across all of these, you'll be defining what gets built, why, and in what order — with a dedicated tech team ready to execute.
What You'll Actually Be Doing

  • Own the product roadmap across the Alternative Distribution platform stack

  • Gather requirements from sales, ops, analytics, and business leads

  • Design automated flows and reporting to speed up operations

  • Run experiments — test different incentive structures, onboarding steps, conversion mechanics

  • Build internal tooling with the dedicated P&D dev team

  • Track key metrics; identify and fix what's slowing the business down

  • Grow your scope as you deliver — new projects, higher complexity, more ownership

    Who You Are

  • 1.5–3 years of product experience at a strong tech company

  • Background in operational / internal tooling products — not credit or fintech products specifically

  • Analytical and data-driven — you don't guess, you measure

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and a fast-moving environment — you thrive without a perfect spec

  • Builder mindset: you've improved something real and can tell a clear story about it

  • English B1+ is enough — you'll be living in Manila, not running English-language standups daily

Nice to have: experience with field operations, agent networks, or distribution systems
What This Role Is (And Isn't)
This is a high-ownership, high-pace role. It's not 9-to-6 at a large corporation. There will be periods where something breaks, a metric needs to move fast, or a launch is on the line — and you'll need to step up. It's also not 70-hour consulting weeks.
What it is: a place where delivering results gets you more responsibility, better projects, and faster career growth — not just in title, but in real scope. As Salmon expands into new markets, people who've proven themselves here will be the ones leading new country teams.
