Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Automation Tester with deep expertise in .NET to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for both manual QA activities and the design, development, and evolution of automated testing solutions across our suite of cruise applications. You will take ownership of product quality, drive release decision-making, mentor junior QA engineers, and collaborate strategically with developers, architects, and senior management to deliver robust, reliable software at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee manual QA activities across cruise applications, ensuring high standards of quality
  • Architect and implement new automation solutions for emerging functionality within the cruise domain
  • Govern the execution and continuous improvement of automation test suites during deployments
  • Own and evolve the existing automation framework for all cruise applications, including booking platforms, web applications, legacy systems, retail systems, and supplier inventory/pricing modules
  • Define and deliver Go/No Go release decisions, taking accountability for production readiness
  • Perform deep root-cause analysis on failed tests and provide actionable guidance to developers and senior management
  • Mentor and coach junior and middle QA engineers, promoting best practices in test automation
  • Define QA strategy, processes, and standards across the team and contribute to long-term quality roadmaps
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to shape testability requirements and influence architectural decisions

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in .NET automation testing
  • Proven background in travel product shopping and booking domains
  • Strong, hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, including pipeline configuration and CI/CD integration
  • Advanced expertise in test strategy and test plan creation, including Test Matrix and Test Case design at the enterprise level
  • Deep proficiency in Component/Integration Testing, QE/Functional Testing, and Web Service/API Testing
  • Demonstrated experience designing and building scalable test frameworks from scratch
  • Advanced command of Selenium, Postman, and SoapUI
  • Strong scripting and development skills in JavaScript and C#
  • Experience driving QA initiatives, mentoring engineers, and championing process improvements
  • Upper-Intermediate English (B2 CEFR level)

Nice to have

  • Certifications such as ISTQB, CSTP, or Selenium Professional
  • Understanding of basic cloud concepts, including IaaS, PaaS, and/or SaaS
  • Familiarity with AWS and Microsoft Azure providers
  • Knowledge of JUnit, NUnit, and TestNG
