2K is hiring an Associate Manager, LQA (LATAM) to oversee day-to-day coordination of LQA testing for one or more titles and to support development of LQA analysts and vendor teams. Location: Montréal, Quebec, Canada. Type: Full-Time.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate LQA testing on assigned titles or project tracks, ensuring alignment with localization goals, certification readiness, and global quality standards.
  • Manage small teams of analysts and/or vendor groups; track performance and provide coaching and mentorship.
  • Collaborate with localization producers, game designers, and developers on test planning, risk analysis and reporting.
  • Define test requirements based on milestones, scope and risk assessments; implement and maintain LQA best practices (bug triage, coverage planning, checklists, terminology).
  • Drive QA issue resolution, suggest process and tooling improvements, and participate in vendor selection and onboarding.
  • Review test plans and scenarios; support training and onboarding of new or junior team members.

Requirements:

  • 4–6+ years experience in localization quality assurance, with at least 1–2 years in a senior analyst or team lead role.
  • Experience working with external QA vendors, distributed teams, or multilingual release pipelines.
  • Familiarity with LQA tools, QA methodologies and content management/test systems (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Xray, CAT tools, TMS, CMS).
  • Strong understanding of platform compliance, localization QA and internationalization testing requirements.
  • Excellent communication and time-management skills; ability to mentor and provide constructive feedback.
  • Fluent English required; Brazilian Portuguese is a strong asset. Degree in localization, linguistics, game production or related field preferred.
