🏢 About the company

Unimatch Lab is an AI-driven Venture Studio from Silicon Valley.

We build our own AI technology stack and a portfolio of AI-driven assets: from consumer AI products and smart devices to local LLM clusters and foundational layers (memory layer, RAM/VRAM optimization, orchestration, AI software for infrastructure and compute).

This includes R&D in local, distributed, and orbital data centers and distributed computing.

Goal: reach the top 50 AI companies worldwide with a combined asset valuation of $10B+ by 2032.

We are an OKR-driven company: measurable outcomes, speed, transparency, and ownership.

We look for A-players: autonomous, fast, strong execution, and high accountability.

🎯 About the position

You own visual identity and the brand system across the portfolio end to end: from moodboards and design code to production-ready assets for products, web/mobile, and content.

Primary focus is hands-on art direction as the sole individual contributor on visual brand: one brand line, quality standards, key surfaces. The second layer is hands-on work in Figma, AI-generated static assets, and motion for social.

Visuals usually break at the seams, not on the logo: landing, UI, social, and AI videos can look like different brands, so the portfolio never reads as one picture. Your priority is one recognizable style across products (web and mobile), the look for AI Video Creator, and a steady stream of materials for Reels, Shorts, YouTube, and releases. Tasks come from the founder and Head of Marketing; acceptance is with them too. You report to Head of Marketing. Start is after agreed scope; on new products you set the direction when the brief has no visual yet.

Volume is steady and measurable: design support for portfolio products, social visuals for the founder and the studio, and video handoff (look, key visuals, references, guides) before video generation starts

✅ What you'll do

  • Set and maintain the portfolio visual standard: identity, design code, brand guides, tone of visual communication aligned with positioning
  • Build the design system in Figma: tokens, components, grids, templates for web/mobile, landing pages, social (LinkedIn, X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube), and presentations
  • Lead visual concept for new products: moodboards, references, direction for marketing, UI, and AI content
  • Set direction on UX/UI for key flows: structure, priorities, brand consistency - hands-on on critical screens, without managing a product design team
  • Art-direct key touchpoints: key visuals, carousels, infographics, PDF frameworks, playbooks, release and campaign visuals
  • Build AI-native pipelines for static assets: prompt systems, image-to-image, generation series; you own the final brand gate
  • Prepare look, characters, and references for AI Video Creator; review finished video for brand fit
  • Create motion for content: Lottie, GIF, stickers, logo and typography micro-animations

💪 Must have

  • 5+ years in digital design and visual/brand direction; strong B2C cases (mobile and/or web) in your portfolio; you use modern AI tools in daily work to execute tasks and speed up hypothesis validation
  • AI is part of how you ship: portfolio shows production-quality AI-assisted brand work, not one-off experiments
  • Hands-on art direction: identity, typography, grid, color, hierarchy, cohesive brand from comms to interface
  • Figma at design-system level: auto-layout, components, libraries, social templates
  • Ability to set UX/UI direction - references, principles, final standard on key surfaces - without needing to lead a design team
  • Practical AI in design: Midjourney, image-to-image, repeatable pipelines with quality control
  • Higgsfield AI and similar tools for AI video and motion workflows
  • AI-native workflow: scope, asset acceptance
