We are looking for a People Operations Team Lead to run and develop a high impact People Ops function in a fast growing, multi country environment.

This is a hands on leadership role where you will lead a team while personally owning complex and high risk operational cases. The role is heavily focused on compliance, employee lifecycle management, and operational excellence, ensuring that all people processes are scalable, structured, and fully aligned with local regulations.

You will play a key role in shaping how People Operations evolves at Salmon, bringing clarity, rigor, and strong execution into a rapidly growing organization.

This role involves relocation to the Philippines. We will support the process.

What You’ll Do

Team Leadership & Execution

  • Lead, develop, and scale the People Operations team

  • Act as a true team lead, combining people management with hands on execution

  • Personally handle complex, sensitive, and high risk operational cases

  • Set clear ownership, priorities, and performance standards across the team

Compliance & Employee Lifecycle Management

  • Own full compliance across the employee lifecycle from hire to exit

  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and legal soundness of all employee documentation

  • Establish and maintain audit ready processes and records

  • Partner with Legal, Finance, Operations, Compliance, and Risks on regulatory matters

  • Mitigate risks related to contracts, terminations, and employee relations

Process Design & Optimization

  • Сontinuously improve scalable People Ops processes

  • Standardize workflows across entities and geographies

  • Drive automation and system adoption

  • Ensure high data quality and operational transparency

Multi Country Operations

  • Support operations across multiple jurisdictions with strong focus on the Philippines

  • Align global standards with local regulatory requirements

  • Help structure and scale operations in a fast growing international setup

Stakeholder Partnership

  • Partner with People Partners and leadership teams

  • Provide clear guidance on operational and compliance related topics

  • Act as a trusted expert in People Operations and risk management

What We’re Looking For

Experience & Background

  • 6+ years of experience in People / HR Operations or HR Generalist roles

  • Proven experience leading teams in a fast paced, high growth environment

  • Strong experience managing employee lifecycle documentation and compliance

  • Experience working in multi country setups is a strong advantage

  • Experience in fast growing startups and building processes from scratch is highly preferred

Skills & Expertise

  • Deep understanding of HR compliance and employee documentation

  • Strong operational mindset with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to structure and scale complex processes in ambiguous environments

  • Comfortable handling sensitive and high risk cases

  • Strong ownership and execution skills

Education

  • Degree in Law is a strong advantage

  • Degree in HR, Business, or related field is also acceptable with relevant experience
