Better Together seeks a Chief Administrative Officer to oversee finance, human resources, and legal functions, ensuring the organization's administrative infrastructure is equipped to sustain rapid growth and maintain excellence, compliance, and accountability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA strongly preferred
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in finance and operations, including executive-level responsibility and oversight
- Proven track record of scaling organizations, building systems, and leading through growth and complexity
- Experience overseeing and integrating Finance, HR, Legal, and administrative functions at an organizational level
- Deep expertise in GAAP, financial strategy, forecasting, and board-level financial reporting
- Demonstrated experience partnering with executive leadership and boards, influencing strategy and decision-making
- Strong background in risk management, compliance, and governance, including grant and regulatory environments
- Advanced proficiency in financial systems and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Salesforce) with a systems-thinking mindset
- Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on outcomes and scalability
- Proven ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing teams, driving accountability and results
