Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Software Engineer with strong Python and React expertise to build and scale responsive front-end features, backend systems, and secure APIs in a fast-paced startup environment. The ideal candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with design, marketing, and engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions while ensuring seamless functionality, data integrity, and system reliability.
Core Tasks:
- Develop and optimize responsive and dynamic front-end features
- Collaborate to ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend services
- Assist with the creation of secure and scalable user authentication and login systems
- Collaborate with design and marketing to align technical solutions with business goals
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable /efficient backend systems
- Build and maintain APIs to support front-end functionality
- Manage and optimize database performance, ensuring data integrity and security
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure seamless functionality and uptime
Must Haves:
- 5+ years software engineering experience (preferably in a startup environment)
- Strong Python and React skills (building and scaling production apps)
- Experience designing APIs / data models / backend systems at scale
- Strong (C-level) English communication skills
- Ability to work full-time EST
Nice to Haves:
- Hand on devops experience
- AWS Glue, Athena, DynamoDB, Aurora
- Energy trading / commodities background
