Overview

We are seeking a proactive and adaptable Lead Automation Tester in Python who embraces AI-native development practices and has hands-on experience delivering software into production environments. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in fast-moving and evolving environments, can operate effectively with limited direction, and is capable of influencing teams through change, including teams that may initially resist AI-driven approaches. This role is well-suited for someone who combines strong QA and automation fundamentals with modern engineering practices, curiosity, and a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and support QA automation solutions and testing workflows across the software delivery lifecycle
  • Use AI-powered engineering tools to improve productivity, testing efficiency and delivery quality
  • Take part in production support activities, troubleshooting and issue resolution when required
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure software quality and reliability
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements and support automated testing integration within delivery workflows
  • Help drive adoption of modern AI-assisted engineering practices across teams
  • Operate effectively in ambiguous or evolving environments, proactively identifying gaps and proposing solutions
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to QA processes, automation and engineering excellence
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders while promoting a positive and collaborative working environment

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in QA automation, software testing or support engineering
  • Background in delivering software into production environments and understanding of the full SDLC lifecycle
  • Practical expertise in using AI tools in day-to-day engineering activities
  • Knowledge of QA fundamentals, testing strategies and production-ready software practices
  • Understanding of CI/CD concepts and pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins or similar tools)
  • Capability to work independently and make progress in environments with evolving requirements
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Positive, curious and adaptable mindset with a willingness to continuously learn
