Overview
We are seeking an experienced Lead DevOps Engineer with deep AWS expertise to drive the design, automation and optimization of cloud-native development pipelines and infrastructure. In this role, you will lead a team of engineers, define best practices and ensure the reliability, scalability and security of mission-critical systems built on AWS.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, AWS CodeBuild and AWS CodeDeploy
- Architect serverless applications leveraging AWS Serverless Application Model (SAM) and AWS Application Composer
- Drive cloud adoption strategies aligned with the AWS Cloud Adoption Framework
- Oversee source control workflows and artifact management with AWS CodeCommit and AWS CodeArtifact
- Establish resiliency testing practices using AWS Fault Injection Simulator
- Mentor and guide a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of automation and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline workflows through Amazon CodeCatalyst and AWS CodeStar
- Implement observability and tracing solutions using AWS X-Ray
- Provide secure browser-based command-line access to AWS resources via AWS CloudShell
- Define standards for cloud-based development environments using AWS Cloud9
- Ensure compliance, governance and operational excellence across all DevOps processes
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering with at least 1 year in a lead role
- Expertise in AWS CodePipeline, AWS CodeBuild and AWS CodeDeploy
- Proficiency in AWS Serverless Application Model, AWS Application Composer and Amazon CodeCatalyst
- Background in AWS CodeCommit, AWS CodeArtifact and AWS CodeStar
- Knowledge of AWS Cloud Adoption Framework for enterprise-scale migrations
- Skills in AWS Fault Injection Simulator for chaos engineering practices
- Familiarity with AWS X-Ray, AWS CloudShell and AWS Cloud9
- Capability to lead cross-functional teams and define DevOps strategy
- Understanding of cloud security, scalability and high-availability principles
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
