We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with strong experience in Payments, Transaction Banking, or Financial Services to join an international project. The role focuses on analysing end-to-end payment processes, defining business and functional requirements, supporting payment integrations, and working with ISO 20022 and SWIFT messaging standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyse end-to-end payment processes, journeys, and transaction flows across domestic, international, and internal payments
  • Define and document business requirements for payment initiation, authorization, processing, status tracking, recalls, and returns
  • Capture H2H, API-based, and file-based payment scenarios
  • Translate business needs into clear and detailed functional requirements
  • Support implementation of ISO 20022 and SWIFT MT/MX messaging standards
  • Analyse and document payment reporting and regulatory requirements
  • Develop business rules, process flows, exception scenarios, and acceptance criteria
  • Identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for process improvements across payment journeys
  • Document end-to-end payment workflows and business processes
  • Work closely with business, operations, compliance, and technology stakeholders

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of professional experience as a Business Analyst
  • Strong commercial experience within Payments, Transaction Banking, or Financial Services
  • Proven understanding of domestic and international payment processes and payment lifecycles
  • Practical experience with ISO 20022 and SWIFT MT/MX messaging standards
  • Experience with payment reporting, compliance, and regulatory requirements
  • Experience documenting business processes and functional requirements and working with end-to-end payment workflows
  • Hands-on experience with H2H, API-based and file-based payment integrations
  • Strong analytical, documentation, stakeholder management, and communication skills
  • Fluent English
