Help shape the future of AI in Brazil!

We are building a next‑generation benchmark to evaluate how well AI systems handle complex, real‑world questions in Brazilian Portuguese. This project will help improve how AI delivers accurate, reliable, and context‑aware responses for the Brazilian market.

We are seeking Brazilian Portuguese Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in Arts (visual arts, architecture and crafts, performing arts, and music and audio-related) to create high‑quality, expert‑level question‑and‑answer content. This role goes beyond basic data labeling and requires deep domain knowledge, critical thinking, and strong writing skills to test advanced reasoning and contextual understanding in Brazilian Portuguese.

Suitable backgrounds include visual artists, curators, or art historians with senior‑level experience; architects or architectural historians with professional or academic backgrounds; crafts practitioners or researchers specializing in traditional or contemporary crafts; performing arts professionals (theatre, dance, opera) with directing, choreography, or dramaturgy experience; musicians, composers, musicologists or sound engineers; audio professionals such as record producers, sound designers, or audio technologists; professionals from cultural institutions including museum directors, exhibition designers, or arts program leads, and critics or long‑form writers specializing in visual arts, architecture, or music.

  • Work Schedule: Part-time (10+ hours per week), fully flexible
  • Rate: 26,40 USD/hour
  • Start Date: Mid-June
  • Duration: Approx. 2 months
  • We offer paid training upon hiring.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop advanced, open-ended questions grounded in realistic, real-world scenarios related to visual arts, architecture, crafts, performing arts, and music and audio
  • Provide in-depth, accurate, and well-structured answers supported by strong domain knowledge
  • Incorporate Brazil-specific cultural, social, and regulatory context where relevant
  • Design content that requires critical thinking, nuance, and multi-step reasoning
  • Ensure clarity, precision, and consistently high writing quality in Brazilian Portuguese
  • Follow detailed project guidelines and meet agreed timelines and quality standards
  • Use of AI tools to generate answers or questions is strictly prohibited.

Requirements

  • Native or fluent proficiency in Brazilian Portuguese (pt-BR)
  • 5–10+ years of professional experience in a relevant field
  • Demonstrated expertise through academic background and/or industry experience
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, structured manner
  • Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality output in a guideline-driven environment
  • Nice to Have

  • Experience with content creation, research, education, or knowledge evaluation
  • Familiarity with AI training, data annotation, or evaluation projects
  • Background in interdisciplinary work (e.g. cultural and art history, architecture and heritage, religion and symbolism, media and popular culture)
