Role: Senior QA Engineer

About the role:
As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be a part of the Trading Data Flow team, responsible for integration and processing of all trading-related data within the company.

About the team:
The team is international and uses English as a primary language. They develop data products like a DWH, data integration tools, data streaming tools, and APIs to access data. They work with other teams and their data sources to collect data for the DWH and provide data products like data marts and aggregated and streaming data for internal customers. All work has an impact on business development at Exness.

What you'll do:

  • Collaborate in the planning, design, development, deployment, and enhancements of data integration products and DWH.
  • Develop, construct and maintain test suites to verify the validity and accuracy of Data Integration and ETL processes.
  • Drive AI integration (e.g., agents, LLMs) across QA processes, including monitoring, testing, data quality assurance, and automated code review.
  • Collaborate with the team to define and describe data policies, standards, and guidelines for other teams to connect their data sources.
  • Collaborate with the team on designing and implementing reconciliation, monitoring, alerting, and other data quality processes.
  • Investigate with the team data quality issues and work on data quality improvement.
  • Ensure data solutions quality will support business requirements.
  • Help with the definition and implementation of the best practices within the team that ensure the quality of the data solutions.
  • Collaborate with team members on troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Analyze and test new features before the kick-off meetings.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing.

Who we're looking for:

  • 4+ years of proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer.
  • Proven experience leveraging AI tools and agents (e.g., Cursor, Cursor, Claude Code, Codex) to enhance QA efficiency and process orchestration.
  • Expert SQL knowledge (especially in ClickHouse) is a must-have.
  • Automation experience with Python (pytest).
  • Experience with data streaming products (like Kafka Connect, Flink) is a must-have.
  • Understanding of data modeling, warehousing, ETL, and data integration techniques.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Result-driven orientation (prioritizing, taking the initiative, taking ownership).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Spoken and written English – upper-intermediate level or above.

Nice to have:

  • Hands-on testing experience in working with stream processing systems.
  • Experience with Docker/k8s.
  • Experience with Grafana, PagerDuty, Terraform.
