Solutions Architect - Network & Cloud

Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Solutions Architect – Network & Cloud to join our consulting practice. In this client-facing role, you will advise enterprise and public-sector customers on modernizing their network and cloud infrastructure, leading architecture design, transformation programs and technical delivery across complex environments. You will combine deep technical expertise with strong stakeholder management skills, acting as a trusted advisor to CIOs, IT leaders and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise customers
• Lead infrastructure assessments, architecture workshops and roadmap development
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Present architecture concepts to technical and executive audiences
• Provide governance aligned to enterprise architecture frameworks
• Design WAN/LAN, SD-WAN and hybrid cloud architectures, including secure connectivity across AWS, Azure and/or Oracle OCI
• Develop Zero Trust and SASE-based security models
• Lead data centre modernization and cloud migration initiatives, producing high- and low-level design documentation (HLD/LLD)
• Support implementation teams during deployment phases and troubleshoot complex cross-domain issues across network, cloud and security
• Provide architectural oversight during transformation programs and act as a senior escalation point for critical infrastructure challenges
• Support RFP/RFI responses with technical solution design, contribute to proposal development and effort estimation
• Participate in client pitches and technical presentations, identifying follow-on opportunities within existing accounts

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise networking and infrastructure consulting
• Proven experience working directly with enterprise or public-sector clients
• Hands-on expertise in Cisco routing & switching, Arista and NSX
• Proficiency in SD-WAN technologies (Cisco, Aruba/Silver Peak or similar)
• Skills in MPLS, VPN and QoS design
• Knowledge of cloud networking across AWS, Azure and Oracle OCI
• Expertise in security architecture, including Zero Trust and SASE
• Background in delivering cloud and network transformation programs
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Fluent English required (C1), German highly desirable
• Willingness to travel to client locations

• Familiarity with AWS Networking and Content Delivery
• Knowledge of GCP Networking
• Understanding of Microsoft Azure
