Mistral AI is hiring a Senior Product Manager to lead Forge, a product for building, fine-tuning and deploying custom AI models at scale.
Responsibilities:
- Define and evangelize product strategy and vision for Forge
- Lead market and UX research to identify opportunities and gaps
- Drive end-to-end product development from ideation to launch and iteration
- Partner with design and research to craft intuitive experiences and use data to refine the product
- Collaborate with marketing and sales on go-to-market, pricing and adoption strategies
- Align engineering, design and business stakeholders and maintain a dynamic roadmap
Requirements:
- 5+ years of product management experience in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Strong understanding of training pipelines, reinforcement learning (RL) loops and model deployment architectures
- Expertise in AI model lifecycle management, including fine-tuning, evaluation and serving
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization and scalable deployment modes (on-prem, VPC, cloud)
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and Slurm; proficient coding skills and ability to prototype are strongly recommended
- Proven cross-functional influence, user obsession, strong communication and problem-solving skills
