Ecofinance is a fast-growing fintech hiring a System Administrator / DevOps Engineer in Chisinau, Moldova.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain AWS services: EC2, SES, CloudFront, Route 53, RDS, S3, EKS, IAM, VPC
- Install, upgrade, configure, and maintain EC2 instances and Linux servers (Ubuntu)
- Manage corporate network infrastructure, VPC environments and DNS configurations
- Implement and maintain monitoring solutions using Zabbix and Grafana/Prometheus stacks
- Manage PostgreSQL and MySQL databases: backups, replication, performance optimization and configuration
- Administer and maintain LDAP infrastructure
- Manage Kubernetes clusters, Docker images, and deployment pipelines using GitLab and Argo CD
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers and system analysts; plan and execute updates and troubleshooting to improve system reliability
Requirements:
- Proven experience in IT system administration with Linux (Ubuntu)
- Experience with SQL database management systems — MySQL and/or PostgreSQL
- Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies, Docker and Kubernetes
- Solid understanding of common IT security practices
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) approach
- Intermediate level of English
