Overview

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS) to join our shared DevOps team. The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform and Kubernetes, along with a strong understanding of supporting services such as messaging, databases, storage, observability and security. Our cloud infrastructure is deployed on AWS and leverages a wide range of services, with CI/CD implemented through Azure DevOps and ArgoCD used for application deployments to EKS.

Responsibilities

  • Automate SDLC processes, including infrastructure provisioning, environment deployment and CI/CD pipeline automation
  • Design and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS using a wide range of managed services
  • Develop and manage infrastructure-as-code with Terraform
  • Operate and support Kubernetes clusters, including deployments and cluster fundamentals
  • Build and maintain fully automated and reliable CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
  • Implement and support GitOps-based application deployments to EKS via ArgoCD
  • Configure and maintain observability stacks for monitoring, logging and tracing
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure reliable and scalable delivery processes
  • Ensure security best practices across infrastructure and pipelines
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, deployment and pipeline issues

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
  • Expertise in AWS Cloud services including EKS, Lambda, Networking, Aurora, RDS, S3, CloudFront, API Gateway, MSK, SNS, KMS and Parameter Store
  • Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure-as-code
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes operation, deployment and cluster fundamentals
  • Background in CI/CD using Azure DevOps (repositories, pipelines, artifact management) and ArgoCD for GitOps application deployment
  • Skills in scripting with Bash and Python
  • Knowledge of observability tools such as Fluent Bit, OpenTelemetry Distro and Amazon Managed Prometheus
  • Familiarity with Amazon Managed Grafana, CloudWatch and Amazon OpenSearch
  • Strong communication skills and fluent English
