Program Overview

Prudential and PGIM are proud to offer the Early Talent Academy, an interactive, exploratory program designed for first‑ and second‑year college students who are curious about careers in financial services and global asset management.

This program is ideal for students who are early in their career journey and looking to gain exposure, build confidence, and better understand the skills, roles, and pathways within our industry — no prior experience in financial services required.

Participants will begin with a virtual Discovery Day, followed by a virtual learning series focused on professional development, industry education, and networking with Prudential and PGIM professionals. The program is designed to help students prepare to be competitive candidates for Summer 2027 internship opportunities.

Program Structure & Timeline:

Virtual Discovery Day
Selected students will attend the Prudential & PGIM Early Talent Discovery Day:

  • Date: June 17, 2026
  • Time: 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM ET
  • Format: Virtual

Discovery Day will introduce students to Prudential and PGIM, provide insight into our businesses and culture, and help kick off their career planning through interactive sessions and conversations with professionals across the enterprise.

Virtual Learning Series
After Discovery Day, participants will continue their experience by attending a virtual learning series throughout June and July, which will include:

  • Professional development workshops
  • Industry‑focused learning sessions
  • Career exploration and networking with business professionals

Anticipated Learning Series Dates:

  • June 25
  • June 30
  • July 9
  • July 16

All sessions will be held virtually from 4:00 – 4:45pm EST.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program
  • Graduation date of May 2028 or May 2029
  • Open to all majors and fields of study
  • Ability to attend the full program, including Discovery Day and the virtual learning series
  • Students with limited or no prior exposure to the financial services industry are encouraged to apply.
  • Must have authorization to work in the U.S. (Prudential does not provide visa sponsorship for this program)

When you apply to the Prudential & PGIM Early Talent Academy, you’ll submit an online application along with your resume. Selected candidates will also complete a short HireVue video assessment, which gives us the opportunity to learn more about you.

Participants for this program are selected through a holistic review process that considers extracurricular involvement, leadership experiences, and demonstrated interest in the program and career exploration. No prior experience in financial services is required — we’re excited to meet students who are curious, eager to learn, and motivated to explore what’s next.
