Overview

Join our shared services team in Australia to deliver capabilities that enable multiple products across the organization — spanning identity, APIs, gateway services, billing/payments and developer enablement.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you’ll partner with engineers, product teams and stakeholders to shape requirements, create developer-ready stories and keep delivery moving through Scrum cadences. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can operate autonomously, communicate clearly and bridge business needs with platform engineering realities.

Responsibilities

  • Run and support Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, refinement, planning, reviews/showcases, retrospectives) to drive predictable sprint execution
  • Elicit and document technical requirements across shared services capabilities to ensure clarity, traceability and readiness for delivery
  • Create and refine epics and user stories and acceptance criteria, maintaining high-quality backlog tickets
  • Coordinate stakeholder or client workshops and roadmap initiative meetings to manage dependencies and drive actions
  • Produce monthly engineering metrics reporting and provide delivery visibility to stakeholders regarding progress, milestones and releases

Requirements

  • Extensive experience as a Business Analyst with a strong background as a Technical Business Analyst in Agile delivery environments
  • Strong Scrum experience, including ceremonies, user stories and backlog refinement
  • Hands-on experience with Apigee or API Gateway technologies, including API platform domain knowledge
  • Clear communication and stakeholder engagement skills across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proficiency in requirements documentation using Jira and Confluence, acceptance criteria development and workshop facilitation

Nice to have

  • Exposure to Ping Identity solutions such as PingFederate, PingAccess or PingOne
