Join EPAM as an Applied AI Solution Architect to lead the technical direction of AI engagements for global brands. In this role, you will map complex business challenges to deliverable architectures and guide clients through critical technological decisions.

You will act as a trusted advisor to technology leaders, helping them navigate architectural tradeoffs and operational realities. By defining clear evaluation strategies and success metrics, you ensure our solutions deliver measurable impact.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the discovery and shaping of AI engagements by mapping business problems and proposing deliverable architectures
  • Define evaluation strategies, success metrics and clear scope commitments for each client engagement
  • Advise client technology leaders on architectural tradeoffs and operational realities to drive strategic alignment
  • Translate client requirements into actionable engineering direction and manage course corrections throughout the project lifecycle
  • Mentor solution architects and contribute to internal best practices to uplift AI delivery capabilities

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience designing and delivering production AI systems
  • Track record of success leading complex client engagements from concept to delivery
  • Demonstrated ability to define architectural decisions, defend technical strategies and manage scope changes
  • Comfort engaging with executive stakeholders to translate technical concepts for business audiences
  • Strong background navigating ambiguous enterprise environments with adaptability and sound judgment

Nice to have

  • Experience in a top consulting firm, AI lab, or systems integrator
  • Domain expertise in financial services, healthcare, public sector, industrial or retail
  • History of speaking at industry conferences or publishing technical writing on applied AI
