Design/Frontend Engineer (AI Assistant for Web Testing)

JetBrains is hiring a Design/Frontend Engineer to work on an AI Assistant for Web Testing.

Location: Limassol, Cyprus (office)

What matters most:

• Design-first thinking and strong UX intelligence over pixel perfection.
• Strong product intuition and ownership for fixing UX friction and architectural smells.
• Prototype-and-ship mentality: explore options quickly, choose a direction, and move on.

Required experience / qualifications:

• Tech stack: React, TypeScript (web or desktop applications).
• Strong working knowledge of React and frontend architecture to keep the codebase clean while using AI coding tools.
• Experience designing and implementing frontend systems end-to-end, not just isolated components.
• Portfolio or examples showing full ownership of frontend projects.
• At least one full year of experience in a startup or fast-moving team.
• Active experience with AI coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code) with understanding of their pros and cons.
