Oreville Studios is looking for a QA Tester to ensure games are working properly before release: test early builds, explore new features, reproduce bugs, verify fixes and provide clear feedback to developers and artists.
Responsibilities:
- Hunt down bugs across new builds, features and gameplay systems.
- Write clear bug reports with useful details, screenshots/videos and reproduction steps.
- Test new content before release and re-test fixes.
- Work with developers, artists and designers to reproduce issues and help polish the player experience.
- Test across multiple platforms (PC, console, mobile) and identify platform-specific issues.
Requirements / Skills:
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing.
- Strong written and spoken English; ability to write clear, concise bug reports.
- Familiarity with Minecraft (especially Bedrock Edition) is important.
- Comfortable using tools like Trello, Notion or similar for bug reports and task tracking.
- Familiarity with testing across PC, console and mobile; experience with bug-tracking tools, Git or test automation is a plus.
Nice to have:
- Experience testing multiplayer gameplay, add-ons or cross-platform issues.
- Previous QA, bug reporting or community testing experience.
