N26 is looking for a Senior Product Designer to join the UX team in the Grow and Engage domain. The role involves leading end-to-end design for high-impact parts of the N26 product used by millions, working closely with product, engineering, research, and data partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end design for important workstreams within your segment, from problem framing through research, exploration, and shipped work.
  • Deliver high-quality UI and interaction design that delights customers and converts.
  • Define user needs, success criteria, constraints, and tradeoffs before designing solutions.
  • Move between projects as priorities evolve; know when to go deep and when to pivot.
  • Mentor and lift the craft of other designers through critique and hands-on leadership.
  • Drive consistency by contributing to and improving the design system and creating reusable patterns.
  • Be data-informed: collaborate on qualitative and quantitative research and proactively seek the data needed.
  • Partner closely with product, engineering, research, and data to deliver and iterate on shipped work.
  • Use AI tools fluently as part of the design practice for exploration, prototyping, synthesis, and acceleration.

Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Strong portfolio showing end-to-end product design work on complex consumer products (ideally mobile and at scale).
  • Track record of leading design across multiple workstreams or feature areas.
  • Experience working with and contributing to a production-scale design system.
  • Experience grounding decisions in research and data and proactively obtaining insights.
  • Experience mentoring or raising the craft of other designers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; ability to present design decisions to product, engineering, and leadership.
  • Fluency with design tooling and workflows (e.g., Figma) and comfort using AI tools in design.
  • Portfolio must be in English.
