Frima Studio is looking for a Quality Assurance Technician to join a team working on a major project.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in daily scrum-style meetings and testing sessions.
- Document discovered bugs and reproduction steps in the bug-tracking tool.
- Track issues, confirm bugs and work with the development team to prioritize fixes.
- Document and publish test procedures and results.
- Provide constructive feedback on the quality and “fun factor” of assigned content.
- Ensure games meet company and client quality standards.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or relevant studies (computer science, multimedia, web, video game, etc.).
- At least 3 years of experience in quality assurance in the video game industry, specifically on mobile games.
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of game types, platforms and development steps.
- Good general computer knowledge; technical knowledge of consoles and manufacturers' requirements is an asset.
- Knowledge of Jira.
- Basic programming knowledge is an asset.
- Good oral and written communication in French and English.
