Overview
We are seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer (GCP) to spearhead our cloud operations and guide a talented team in delivering enterprise-grade infrastructure solutions. This role calls for a seasoned professional who can shape technical strategy, mentor engineers and drive excellence across the entire Google Cloud Platform ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and evolution of cloud-native environments on Google Cloud Platform
- Oversee end-to-end deployment pipelines leveraging GCP Developer Tools
- Govern container image lifecycle through Google Cloud Container Registry and Google Cloud Artifact Registry
- Drive build automation initiatives with Google Cloud Build and Google Remote Build Execution
- Coordinate task scheduling and background processing via Google Cloud Scheduler and Google Cloud Tasks
- Establish version control standards across Google Cloud Source Repositories
- Mentor engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence within the DevOps team
- Partner with engineering leadership to define cloud strategy and best practices
- Evaluate emerging GCP technologies and recommend their adoption to optimize operations
- Ensure security, scalability and reliability of all production environments
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering or related leadership roles
- Expertise in Google Cloud Platform and GCP Developer Tools
- Background in Google Cloud Container Registry, Google Cloud Artifact Registry and Google Cloud Source Repositories
- Competency in Google Cloud Build, Google Remote Build Execution and Google Cloud Code
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Scheduler, Google Cloud Tasks and Google Cloud SDK
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
