Primary duties:

  • Analyze, implement, execute, and manage the data management lifecycle process.
  • Monitoring and reporting on quality of data, implementing and operating data security controls, participating in data conversion and migration efforts.
  • Acquire or receive data from internal or external sources.
  • Control and monitor data quality to ensure zero defects at source.
  • Organize or arrange data in an agreed structure.
  • Classify information, so that it can be easily retrieved.
  • Store/archive/publish data via designated tools or repositories.
  • Find or locate data or enable data retrieval in a useable format.
  • Preserve and protect data until closure of litigation, audit or investigation.
  • Dispose of data in accordance with Client Standards and Guidelines.
  • Train and advise individuals in the correct use of Azure Data stack tools.
  • Appraise I&D initiatives against the plan.
  • Monitor I&D health, maturity and compliance.
  • Participation in Enterprise Data Governance Initiative/Project
  • Develop Data Lake/Data Warehouse on Azure Data stack and apply Data Govereance model
  • Developennt and provision of Data Architecture documents and artefacts

  • Skills and competencies:

  • Experience of Data Governance methodologies.
  • ERP Data architecture components.
  • ERP Data management lifecycle.
  • Relevant Oil&Gas business/industry knowledge.
  • Experience in development Procedures and Standards for Data Management services.
  • Has knowledge of Microsoft and/or SAP Business Intelligence technologies (analytics tools, etc.)
  • Has knowledge/experience of Azure Data Lake/Data Warehouse technologies.
  • Knowledge and good understanding of Data Architecture

  • Education and experience:

  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or related discipline
  • 3 to 5 years of proven experience in Technical Data Management and use of applicable methodologies, tools and techniques in complex environments
  • 3 to 5 years of proven experience in Azure Data Management stack
  • At least 3 years of Data Architecture & Data Governance
