Overview

We are currently looking for a Senior Service Integration Engineer to join an assignment focused on Service Vendor Integration within the Store and Supply Chain domain. In this role, you will work in a complex hybrid environment (cloud and on-premise), where data sources are distributed across multiple systems. You will contribute to building robust integrations, enhancing data flows and enabling better end-to-end system transparency and control.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement service integrations across cloud and on-premise environments
  • Improve data integration and flow across distributed systems
  • Work with API management solutions and REST-based services (e.g., ServiceNow)
  • Integrate process management tools and support system alignment
  • Contribute to the integration of SaaS platforms (ServiceNow)
  • Drive observability and monitoring (e.g., Grafana) to improve system visibility
  • Help establish a clear end-to-end view of environments and dependencies

Requirements

  • Senior-level experience with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
  • Understanding of API management and REST services
  • Proficiency in Kotlin (Java can be accepted)
  • Experience working with distributed data sources and complex system landscapes
  • Familiarity with SaaS platforms (e.g., ServiceNow or similar)
  • Knowledge of cloud environments (Azure preferably, but not limited to it)
  • Strong observability mindset with tools like Grafana or Prometheus
  • Capability to work independently and bring structure to complex environments

Nice to have

  • Experience with ServiceNow integrations
  • Exposure to both cloud and on-premise architecture
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure
  • SRE mindset/focus
