Telecom Mediation Engineer (DigitalRoute MediationZone). FULL-TIME, long-term, remote (b2b contract). Candidate location and legal entity must be outside of Russia and Belarus.
Salary: Salary is up to 6000 usd gross
Position Responsibilities:
- Work with Business Analysts, Architects, Product Owners and Business Users to translate business requirements into end-to-end telecom mediation solutions.
- Design, develop and maintain DigitalRoute MediationZone workflows and configurations aligned with integration architecture and best practices.
- Own the full mediation lifecycle: solution design, development, validation, testing, deployment and production rollout.
- Develop and optimize mediation flows for collection, validation, transformation, enrichment, aggregation and distribution of telecom usage data.
- Integrate MediationZone with OSS/BSS platforms, billing systems, network elements and event streaming platforms.
- Ensure data quality, reconciliation, monitoring and end-to-end integrity across mediation processes.
- Troubleshoot production issues, optimize platform performance and implement monitoring, alerting and operational improvements.
- Document mediation solutions, interfaces and operational procedures.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge and proven experience in telecom mediation and billing.
- Hands-on experience with DigitalRoute MediationZone: workflow development, configuration, testing, deployment and production support.
- Experience with CDR/EDR processing, data collection, validation, transformation, enrichment, routing, reconciliation and distribution.
- Experience integrating mediation platforms with OSS/BSS and billing systems (e.g., Oracle BRM, Amdocs, CSG).
- Experience with Grafana and Prometheus for monitoring and observability is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Apache Kafka and event-driven integrations.
- Experience with REST APIs and relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL or MySQL).
- Familiarity with Linux, Git, CI/CD, Docker and Kubernetes.
- Good understanding of cloud technologies, scalable infrastructure and platform security.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. English at B2 level.
