Goldbelt Taku is hiring a Junior Front End Developer to support development, implementation, and improvement of user-facing components for the Military-Civilian Transition Office (MCTO) online platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain user-facing features for MCTO web platforms, including interfaces, survey and evaluation forms, and reporting dashboards.
- Ensure web interfaces are compatible with current mobile devices (responsive).
- Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and back-end developers to translate requirements into front-end solutions.
- Support integration of CMS capabilities to enable Government administrators to create and manage web content.
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT), bug tracking, and remediation.
- Contribute to documentation of front-end components, UI changes, and configuration updates.
- Adhere to DoW ASD STIG configuration requirements and OWASP secure coding fundamentals.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Proficiency in JavaScript and at least one modern front-end framework (React, Vue.js, or equivalent); 2 years of React development experience is listed as must-have.
- 0–2 years of professional or documented academic front-end development experience (position is junior-level).
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts.
- Experience with issue/task tracking tools such as Git/GitHub, Azure DevOps, JIRA in an Agile environment.
- Exposure to front-end testing practices and quality assurance processes; focus on usability and performance.
- Familiarity with responsive design and accessibility best practices.
- Must obtain and maintain a Tier 3 (T3) background investigation and be a U.S. citizen eligible for a DoW Common Access Card (CAC).
- Complete mandatory training within 30 days of reporting (CUI, OPSEC, Privacy Act/PII, IT Security Awareness, Insider Threat Awareness).
