Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance features for iOS applications
- Write and remove code with an emphasis on quality and long-term maintainability
- Identify and resolve bugs throughout the codebase
- Analyze performance and apply optimizations
- Maintain and extend Objective-C legacy code
- Build unit and integration tests
- Participate in open source initiatives
- Collaborate effectively with a globally distributed team
- Integrate with bespoke, lovingly hand-crafted backend services from the days of yore
- Design solutions for open-ended problems
- Iterate quickly on ideas with the team, even when requirements are ambiguous
Requirements
- Hands-on experience building iOS applications for 2+ years
- Proficiency in Swift and Objective-C
- Solid expertise in UIKit and MVVM architecture
- Familiarity with build tools like Tuist, xcodebuild and GitHub Actions
- Working knowledge of Circle CI and continuous integration patterns
- Background in functional coding patterns and performance optimization
- Practical skills with REST APIs and RAML API documentation
- Competency in XCTest, XCUITest and Danger
- Understanding of μFeatures Architecture
- Strong self-management skills with the ability to self-start and organize time effectively
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- English proficiency at B2 level (Upper-Intermediate) or higher
