•••••••••, part of an international holding with its head office in Cyprus, develops high-load IT products for major companies. The company focuses on B2B iGaming solutions. The role is within the infrastructure department, developing backend services and tools for managing data storage and processing, infrastructure provisioning, and system integrations.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop backend services for infrastructure and data processing.
  • Set technical standards and ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and documentation.
  • Build and develop the Python team, including hiring, mentoring, and task planning.
  • Integrate systems and design REST/gRPC APIs.
  • Automate infrastructure processes and build data-flow management tools.
  • Work with DevOps on CI/CD, deployment, and service observability, including metrics, logs, and alerting.
  • Contribute to technical planning, estimates, risk assessment, and collaboration with other teams.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of commercial Python development, including 1–2+ years as a team lead, tech lead, or senior developer.
  • Experience designing high-load distributed services.
  • Strong SQL and database experience, including PostgreSQL or MySQL, with knowledge of database internals and optimization.
  • Confident use of UNIX systems and the command line.
  • Practical Docker and Kubernetes experience, including image builds, manifests or Helm charts, and deployment.
  • Experience with unit and integration testing, code reviews, and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.

Nice to have: GitLab CI/CD, Terraform, Ansible, Infrastructure as Code, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Vault, Sealed Secrets, External Secrets, Java, or Go.

Conditions: Full-time office work in Cyprus, 5/2 schedule with flexible start between 8:00 and 10:00, and official employment under Cypriot labor law.
