WINSSEN HOLDINGS LIMITED — YouChat, a modern messaging platform focused on delivering fast, reliable, and seamless communication across web and mobile devices, is looking for a Principal Messaging Architect to evolve the platform.
Location: Larnaca, Cyprus. Remote (Worldwide) available. Full-time, office or remote.
Responsibilities:
- Review and assess the current platform architecture
- Define a long-term technical roadmap for scalability and reliability
- Improve messaging performance, synchronization, and delivery
- Optimize mobile and web user experience
- Advise on best practices used by leading messaging platforms
- Mentor engineering teams and participate in key architectural decisions
Ideal background:
- Experience contributing to large-scale messaging or real-time communication platforms (e.g., Telegram, WhatsApp, Signal, Discord, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Viber)
- 5+ years of relevant experience
Technical expertise:
- Distributed systems
- Real-time messaging architectures
- WebSockets, MQTT, gRPC, messaging protocols
- Mobile and web application performance
- Push notification systems
- Multi-device synchronization
- Scalability and reliability engineering
- Security and privacy
