Position overview: Join the Group Actuarial team to develop and deploy data-driven solutions and analytics products.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy data-driven solutions using R, RShiny, Python and SQL.
- Utilize Large Language Models (LLMs), OCR and web scraping technologies to extract and model unstructured data.
- Design scalable data pipelines and environments on cloud platforms (GCP, Azure).
- Apply mathematics, statistics, modelling, modern machine learning techniques and optimization.
- Perform data management: cleaning, transformation and visualization.
- Build user interfaces (Shiny or Dash) and create/maintain predictive models, dashboards and automation for stakeholders.
- Stay up to date with developments in data science, cloud computing and AI.
Qualifications & experience:
- Advanced university degree (Master’s preferred) in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Actuarial or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience (experience level depending on profile).
- Knowledge of actuarial concepts is a plus.
