Wisebits — international IT holding developing high-load video hosting and streaming services. We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to work on reliability and infrastructure for a high-load product.
Responsibilities:
- Automating, maintaining and improving infrastructure for applications running in Kubernetes
- Supporting and operating Kubernetes system components and infrastructure services in production
- Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and participating in release processes
- Configuring and maintaining monitoring, logging and alerting systems
- Supporting databases and storage systems; automating routine operational tasks with scripts and IaC
- Troubleshooting production incidents, performing RCA and implementing preventive measures
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
- Hands-on experience operating Kubernetes in production, including baremetal clusters
- Strong Linux (Ubuntu) administration and networking fundamentals
- Experience with CI/CD (GitLab), Ansible and Infrastructure as Code approaches
- Strong scripting skills (Bash); experience with Python for automation is a plus
- Experience with monitoring/logging (Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, VictoriaLogs)
- Experience supporting PostgreSQL, ClickHouse and Elasticsearch
- Experience developing/maintaining Helm charts
Will be a plus:
- Experience with Ceph (replicated and erasure-coded pools, CephFS, RBD, RGW)
- Experience with Werf, systemd, building/deploying apps based on Yii, Node.js and Go
- Experience operating high-load large-scale production systems
